Crutch Haringey is a 4 year project designed and delivered by Citizens Advice Haringey. The project is funded by National Lottery Community Fund's (previously Big Lottery) Help Through Crisis funding stream.
The project has been designed to compliment the existing services offered by Citizens Advice Haringey within the local community. The Crutch Haringey project offers practical support to local residents who are living in financial hardship, this support is often requested at a time of emergency whereby a difficult financial situation is impacting a clients ability to access basic provisions such as food, clothing and shelter.
Project staff and volunteers will then work with that client to provide them with the knowledge, skills and ultimately empowerment to prevent a recurrence of the same situation happening.
